“Gemma did my hair and make up for my wedding, and she did it twice in the same day: one style for the morning ceremony and a totally different one for the evening reception. She was very professional and calm all through out the day even when time was tight and I was getting really stressed. I am very happy to have had Gemma do my hair and makeup on my special day for myself and my mother and sister. I was nervous as I don't do anything with my hair on a day to day basis and have no clue about makeup. Gemma knew straight away that I didn't want anything too heavy, which was great. As for my hair, I had it up in a messy bun with a plat on the side, and she made sure it was secure enough to hold a cathedral veil. My hair did not faulter throughout the day. She did a brilliant job and I'm so happy. I was lucky to find her for my first and only trial :) She's down to earth and she makes you feel at ease. I would highly recommend her!!

I was lucky enough to have Gemma be my hair and make up artist for my wedding in Florence, Italy. I had 2 trials and she listened to exactly what I was after, even when I wasn't too sure myself!! I honestly think your make up artist can make or break your wedding day for you, and I feel incredibly lucky to have had Gemma there with me! My makeup was perfect and did not budge for over 12 hours. I have no idea how she did my hair but I was in love with the style! I cannot recommend her enough for making me look my absolute best for my big day. She also did my bridesmaids make up which again, looked perfect and lasted even if 30 degree heat!

Gemma was fantastic! She made my sister and me feel really comfortable during the trial, and was very conscientious. On the big day, Gemma was there on time and got to work straight away. I wanted a half up, half down look as I was going to wear a heavy veil, and Gemma's technique to get it spot on so that the veil stayed on all night was superb. Gemma even stepped in at the last minute to do my future mother and sister-in-laws hair! Overall, I had a great experience and would highly recommend.

Gemma did the hair and make up for my wedding two weeks ago, as well as my 4 bridesmaids and 3 family members. She and her assistant did a fabulous job on the day and I was so pleased with my hair and makeup, the look was just what I wanted and I felt fantastic. My naturally fine hair lasted in its waves all day despite the intense heat (it was 30deg) and I spent most of the night on the dance floor too.... Everyone looked amazing and was really happy with their look. Gemma was a really calming influence and it was great having her with us on the morning. 

I actually cancelled the first make up artist I had booked as after two trials I still felt the make up was too heavy and the look was a bit “too done” and not really me. I knew just from speaking with Gemma on the phone that she was the right person for me, she really took time to ask questions and look at me as an individual to find out what I wanted. At the trial she totally put me at ease and listened to me and gave me the natural look that I wanted. She also sourced hair extensions for me and cut them in advance for me which was hugely helpful too.

Would 100% recommend Gemma and am really pleased that I changed make up artists to work with her instead.

 Gemma is an incredibly talented hair and make-up artist and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. Gemma has done my hair and make-up on several occasions. For a photo shoot for my website and promotional material.
